I ordered a .678 round ball mold on Tuesday and recieved it today (saturday). Not only was it super fast shipping but the mould is high quality and it was cheap; $40.00 shipped from England.

Okay, Dan, I think I figured out you ordered the mould from Jeff Tanner. But, I'd still like to know if he lists his products anywhere?

A few years back I ordered a .464 round ball mould from Jeff Tanner. It arrived in a few days and he does have GREAT service.

Then a few months later I miked the balls thrown out by his mould and found that they actually were .457 diameter! That explained whey the balls cast by that mould didn't all that well in my odd ball caliber gun.

Guess he made a mistake on my order.

I quickly tired of cutting the sprues off with a pair of pliers on my Tanner mould, so I installed an old Lyman sprue plate and the mould works 1000% better. I highly recommend that modification. Anyone with access to a mill and drill press can do that modification.
