This musket has lots of potential. Made in 1826 by WT Wickham. It was converted to a percussion rifled and sighted musket ca. 1861 for the Civil War. This is the H&P type bolster conversion. The barrel is still rifled but it gets crudy as it get closer to the breech. The stock has been shortened but it has the hard to find front band. The band would sell for $200. This is a great candidate for a restoration or for some good parts. I have a replacement forend I can add for $40. The hammer won't stay cocked and as you can see in the pictures that the sear spring is missing. One lock screw is also missing as is the rear sight. Look at the pictures and feel free to ask questions. It's worth more in parts that I'm listing it for.
