This a great, relatively rare, William Muir and Sons pattern 1861 3 band musket. All original. The bore is vg with scatter pitting and strong rifling. The cartouches are sharp. The lock is crisp. There is a crack in the wood running forward from the front of the lock. I is not a stress crack just old wood. Look at the pics. All original. The lock doesn't photographed well. It is not pitted.
