I rejoined the N-SSA after a rather long hiatus and I'm now regularly competing with the Maynard. Since I usually carry a bunch of stuff,

Can anyone recommend a good reproduction (or modern, if allowed) scabbard or case for the 2nd Model Maynard?

As small as the Maynard is you won't have any trouble finding a modern soft or hard case it'll fit in. If you want to wait till the Nationals you can buy a really good case from these folks at their booth.
