Sold pending receipt of funds! OK lots of lookers but no takers so I'm lowering the price to $2195.00!! Original Remington Zouave .58 cal. rifle musket in fantastic condition. This musket was called the "Harper;s Ferry Pattern" in offical correspondence. Bore condition is bright and shiny with crisp rifling. 99% of original blueing with just a little peppering around the nipple bolster area. STEEL marked on the left breech flat with inspector's intials. VP and eagle head proofs on top of the breech. US marked butt plate, inspector's initial on the trigger bow and front band. Double inspector's cartouches on the left stock flat. Original ramrod and an extral original nipple in the patch box. Only 12,000 made during the war, most sat in a warehouse for the duration.
