In the middle of re-finishing the gun, I aquired a really nice Repro Mississippi that I liked better. I have skirmished with this musket, and it is accurate. If I can get hits with it, anyone can. Already got the tall front sight, an older but better Walnut stock on it, and the barrel is in the white. The barrel will need polished beacuse some lunkhead, namely me, got in too big of a hurry and put some scratches on it. Not a showpiece, but it could be made to look alot better. Be a good starter for a new recruit without tying up alot of money.....I used the oversized mini with 45 gr. of FFF Goex, and I was able to medal with it, which is in itself a pretty amazing feat.
