Locks made by the manufacturer of the gun, 1861 special model. They don't interchange with any other lock and I don't know of anyone having made a reproduction of that lock. As near as I can tell parts are extremely difficult to find. As far s I know the former owner of Chatahootchie sold off everything left on eBay or at least he told me that was his intention.

Lou, it seems within my search of lock parts that Amoskeag parts were the same or close to the Colt Signature Series made in Brooklyn, NY, which I bought in 1999. My lock plate is thin compared to my father's Springfield, hence the years of frustration as well as involved work to make it compatible for competition. It was quite hard to find my parts over the years...I remember calling Chattahoochee in 99 or 2000 and complaining about this non-Colt turd....he slammed me about not buying his Amoskeag muskets. So, I feel ya...good luck in looking for parts and answers.
