An unfired mint Chiappa 55 Springfield Rifle Musket. This was bought by a Civil War buff and was part of his display. This is as new and this is Chiappa's description:

It comes with a framed Certificate of Authenticity, a tompion, a sling and an engraved brass disc with a matching serial #. Armory bright with a dark walnut stock; it's a handsome piece and I was tempted to hang it on my wall for display but it really has to go. The only markings visible on this gun are the ones that would be found on an original 55 Springfield (no inspector's stock mark).
