Info needed on Sharps and Hankins Navy Carbine

Could someone with a Sharps and Hankins Navy Carbine please measure the thickness of the leather and also the threads per inch of the stitching? I'm looking to make a leather barrel cover for one I just bought that is missing the cover.

Hi Hal Sorry for the delay the thickness is 1/16 I measured it in 2 places .Stitches are1/8 apart. Hope that helps .You have a big job ahead Bob
