Sirs,

Good day and when I shoot the revolvers both in team meets,
and individuals. I seal all six in the cylinder with lard, crisco, etc. I was wondering if anyone has ever used or uses the premade sealing wads. I mean for instance RMC oxy-yoke revolver seals or the wonder wads. This is for both a Navy Arms 36 and Uberti 36. Your response is appreciated.

They make lubricated (and unlubricated) wads, but I have never heard of them being placed over the ball. They also make things called "grease cookies" that are just punched out disks of lube. But again I've never heard of them being placed over the ball, normally under it.

The wonder seals are little stiff wax plugs that are designed to be smashed on top of a ball. Different than the felt wads.

You can make your own out of beeswax and wonder lube 1000, I'd say this is what ox-yoke is using to make these. Or possibly some paraffin. When if cools just roll your own ball of wax.

After seeing them blow out after the first shot or two like the other fat/Crisco mixes do, I went back to just Crisco.
