Model 1816 Springfield dated 1838 with an H&P conversion date of 1863. Wood is solid and the original bore is smooth and bright. Everything looks original to the gun. Faint cartouche. Very nice original and un-messed with H&P. Asking $1950.00. Will have it at the fort this week. Jim Koch, Forrest's Escort
