We picked up two beautiful replica revolvers at the estate sale of an elderly gentleman who apparently fired neither one. This M1860 is by Lyman, probably made 30 years ago, and in about new condition. It is the early four screw model, cut for a shoulder stock. The trigger guard and backstrap are silver plated. Just a couple of very minor handling mars (hardly worth mentioning), but no evidence of shooting.
The revolver is in a nice fitted wooden case with key to lock it. Inside is a beautiful brass flask, nipple wrench, and brass bullet mold. As you know the Lyman revolvers were noted for their superb fit and finish, and are great shooters. But this one is just too pretty to put to hard use!
