We picked up a two beautiful replica revolvers at the estate sale of an elderly gentleman who apparently fired neither one. This M1851 36 caliber is by Lyman, probably made 30 years ago, and in about new condition. It is the early screw model with square trigger back guard, silver plated as is the back strap. Just a couple of very minor handling mars (hardly worth mentioning), but no evidence of shooting. (We'll get the second revolver listed shortly.)
This revolver is in a nice fitted wooden case with key to lock it. Inside is a beautiful silvered flask, nipple wrench, and brass bullet mold. As you know the Lyman revolvers were noted for their superb fit and finish, and are great shooters. But this one is just too pretty to put to hard use!
