Pedersoli Nipples For Schutzen Musket Caps?

It was suggested to me that Pedersoli Sharps nipples might be the solution to Schutzen musket caps failing to fire on Shiloh or other Sharps carbines. Has anyone tried this and what were the results?

I replaced mine with a replacement from Lodgewood and it solved the Shuetzen cap problem on my Pedersoli Sharps. I don't know what brand Lodgewood sells but it fixed my problem.
