I have an original 2nd Model Old Stock Maynard butt stock. It shows no signs of ever having been installed on a Maynard. I refreshed the finish with a little Linseed oil and mineral spirits and it looks like new. There are no cartouches on this stock. There are a few dings from 160 years of being handled. There is a very small chip of wood out near the butt plate tang. The price is $250 and I can deliver to the fort at a Reg or Nat'ls. I can ship it for $15 extra. I can furnish other pictures.
