I have two restored original Model 1841 aka Mississippi rifles for sale. They are both Drake conversions in 58 caliber with 3 groove barrels lined by Hoyt with a 60" twist. They both have some wood repairs and some lock parts replaced. Both have the breech area glass bedded, trigger pulls adjusted to under 5 lbs, sighted centered but low to allow for the buyer to finish sighting in. One has a Robbins & Lawrence lock and the other has a Whitney lock. The Robbins is $1500 and the Whitney is $1400. They will shoot minute of pigeon or better with the Hodgdon bullet. I stand by what I make, sell and repair. Any issues, I take care of it. Skirmish season is upon us and there is nothing like a new gun to start the season with. PM me if interested.
