Back when my friend Val Forgette Jr. was around, I kept in fairly close touch with him to find out when he got old cannons in stock. The piece described in my article here is one of the most interesting pieces I got from him during the many years we did business. There's a whole other story I didn't mention about the year it took me to get it from him, which is better told in person.
