I have an IAB Sharps 1863 Carbine in 54 caliber for sale. I bought this a few months ago used, though it does not appear to have been fired. I sent it to Charlie Hahn for his solid breech and o-ring sleeve conversion. Charlie said that the carbine did not appear to have been fired since proofing in Italy. He also modified my Rapine 544475 Buffalo Slug mold to fit his tubes. I will include 500 tubes, spare o-rings, grease (as recommended by Charlie) and the Rapine mold with the sale of this carbine. I have not fired this carbine, so I have no loads to give you. My interests have taken a different direction, so some skirmisher should be shooting it, rather than it sitting in my gun safe. Now $650 shipped for the package. Pictures available upon request. email me at oscarlovel@gmail.com

For those looking for a nice Sharps to get started with this is a well fitted gun. Barrel is arsenal steel unlike some being made currently. It does have that coils spring for the lever, but the wood to metal is very good, and the stock is trimmed like an original. Tight hammer and good trigger. Clint didn't ask me to comment, but he takes very good care of his guns and this one is real nice. My work on the gun transfers to the new owner for service.
