Who makes custom order barrel blanks?

I?m getting ready to restore a Civil War carbine that?s missing the original barrel. I need a barrel blank with 3 grove rifling with equal size lands and groves in 1-54 or 1-56 twist. Who out there can do this for me? I can do the chambering threading and contouring.

Hoyt is your best bet. He can do many calibers, grooves and twists. Whitacre can only do 58 and 69 calibers with a 72" twist. He gets the barrel blanks from Hoyt for any others.

Unfortunately Hoyt is closed till November the 1st and has a heavy work load. Any other possibilities?

I've got several barrel blanks 50 caliber, 3 groove, 56" twist that I make up Maynard barrels with. They are from Hoyt and are 1 1/8" diameter x 24+ inches long. I could spare one. PM me if interested and for price.
