Original Ballard Civilian Carbine for Sale

Ballard Civilian Carbine for sale. Gun has been set up for 44 Special centerfire cartridge and has a flip up sight for 50 and 100 yard target shooting. Originally 32 rimfire, this gun has been rerifled and rechambered for 44 Spec. It has not been relined. Block was converted to centerfire by a gunsmith on my team using an approved method for centerfire conversion on Ballards. As this gun was a civilian sale, it is not approved for NSSA competition, For reference, I have a picture of a military carbine that would is an approved configuration for comparison. This gun is in beautiful condition and holds and shoots well. I use it for carbine and single shot practice all the time. I picked up a Romano Ballard rifle this Spring and I now have two Ballard Rifles, so it is time to sell this one. Price $1,200 delivered to Fort at Nationals.
