Looking for loads for use with .562 round ball and brass casings, but any and all information greatly appreciated.
Only load information that I can find on a search is by Tom Kelly using reduced plastic cases.
My standard load for a Burnside Carbine now consists of a .562 pure lead round ball over a .45 Wonder Wad on top of 37.5 grains of FF Goex black powder in a plastic, reduced-capacity tube.
I have been told a start off with 28 grns ffg up to 40grns ffg, topped off with COW filler.
Burnside load information seems almost secretive!
Please and thank you, anybody
Garth
