I have a no longer made Armisport early model '55 Springfield I would like to sell. It was defarbed by John Zimmerman of Harpers Ferry. The plate is now marked Harpers Ferry with a 1858 date. The barrel has been redated to 1858. The bands have had the U stamped in line with the band springs. The screws and Band spings have been blued as per the orig. HFs. The musket is in excellent condition. It has not been fired since Mr. Zimmerman did his work. The rifle has been fired previously and well maintained.
