Pattern 1853 Enfield india

Workin1g with a friend on a Pattern 1953 Enfield full stock and lock.
. Are the lock parts compatible with British Enfield
2. Are they legal and desirable for a build.

It will be for sale when I figure it out. Has a butt plate and it is full length.

As far as I know, only the Pattern 1853 muskets made at Enfield and London Armoury Company had interchangeable parts.

I don't know about Indian-manufacture Enfields but I doubt they would be directly interchangeable with British-manufacture Enfields unless you got lucky.
