Dated 1864 and in very good condition. Emerson & Silver are one the rare makers. The scabbard maintains the majority of the nickle finish with no dings or dents. The blade has few minor nicks and has been polished in its life. There is enough of the Emerson and Silver, Trenton NJ to make it out. The saber has DFM inspector marks in multiple places. Dexter F Mosman worked exclusively for Emerson & Sliver.
