Who actually made the revolvers imported and marked as "Hawes" and who actually made the revolvers marked as "EIG"?

I have a Hawes Western Marshall that was made by JPSauer and Sons in west Germany. They were bought out by SIG, to produce the West German P-6 (SIG-225), becoming SIG-Sauer.

Sauer made at least some of Hawes' cartridge revolvers but I have no idea who made their Cap & Ball revolvers. I had one 50 years ago and didn't know (care?) back then.

These guns are definitely of the "Eye-Talian" persuasion.
