for those of you who had whitacre re-line your Italian made guns how much of a difference did you notice? I have glass bedded the gun and I am getting a 3" group at 50 off a bench and thats at best. What do you think?

I think you need to check the following. PURE lead bullet, sized properly, powder charge, bench shooting technique. Benching a musket is a very challenging task; way more difficult than most seem to think. If the numbers in your handle are your zip, PM me and maybe we can get together to see what's up.

Ian,,,it does not matter the gun nor the country of origin. Dan's liners don't care what kind of gun they go in. I've had several done over the years and all shot better then the shooter given the correct bullet,,,,,,powder,,,,and LUBE. I'd look to one of these as the problem first. Then at the others suggested above.

Worse case call Dan and go see him.
