What information can you give me for the Remington Shooters Model. Mine takes a .464 diameter ball.

Thanks,
Wes

If your revolver requires a .464 ball I would make Pietta replace the cylinder. Their listed spec for the chamber dia. is .456. Groove dia is supposed to be .456. I have two shooter's models. Both shoot a .457 ball w/ 15grs. FFF.W/ filler.

Mine won't cut a ring with .457 balls, they just fall in the holes. I also swaged the barrel with a .457 it barley touches the grooves. I contacted Pietta and they told me to refer to the manual page 18 under the ball diameter column of the graph. It shows the competition revolver having a .464 diameter. I orderd a .464 diameter mould and swaged the ball in my barrel. It fit perfect. With 15 grs. and filler mine only shoots ok, but groups improve as the powder charge goes up. My standard model 1858 shoots great with 15 grs. so I figured one of you might know or have the same problem. Thanks for the info.
