Shooting Romano Keen & Walker carbine

Has anyone successfully shot one of these Keen & Walker carbines and if so what bullet and powder charge did you use? I have one and have never shot it. Looks like the chamber is 1.5 inches deep. This is a Sharps bullet with a Charlie Hahn tube inserted in the chamber. Looks like that won't work! I need a minie about .544" and loose powder. I think that I will stick to Maynard for the carbine match!
