1849 Colt Pocket
This gun was produced in 1855. The Colt pocket was produced from 1850 to 1873. Aporoximately 340,000 were produced. It is .31 cal. with a 5 inch barrel. All the numbers match including the wedge. The bore is shootable with good rifling and some corrosion, The gun maintain about 20%+ of the original blue and 85% original varnish on the grips, 50 to 60% of the stage coach scene is visible. These guns were widely carried in the Civil War as a backup weapon on both sides of the Mason Dixion Line. The story I love the best is that officers carried them to ward off surgeons who tried to amputate a wounded arm or leg. NO FFL required.
