Sold, Pending Funds

Time to sell off a few more things that I no longer need. This is a Uberti-made 1858 Remington in 36 caliber. It is in "like new" condition, probably hasn't had more than 60 rounds fired through it. Looking for $180 plus shipping.

Click on the pics and they will enlarge.

Also have holster, belt with shoulder strap. The shoulder strap came in real handy as my tummy is somewhat larger than my hips. Kept the holster from heading for my knees. Belt is in the 42" to 44" range... could be made smaller by additional holes for the Chicago screws. Certainly nothing authentic but worked just fine for me. $35 plus shipping or $27 if bought with pistol.

Reasonable offers considered... the worst I can do is decline.

Is the holster and belt made by a company or home made?

Thanks

We have a brand new member that is intersted in a revolver. Please give me a chance to get this info to him for consideration.

Where are you located??

That is a very low price. I have one just like it and I paid about $300 for it about two years ago. I am going to ask a couple of my friends if they would be interested.

Would you be interested in trading for an 1860 Uberti Colt? I fired 6 rounds through it many years ago.
Or a Ruger Old Army (45 caliber cap and ball)? It is in very good shape. These Ruger Old Armys are popular with NMLRA shooters.

I can email pictures of both pistols if you are interested. If interested in a trade, email me directly.

Good luck!

Dave,

My buddy got it (he's our new shooter). If you're nice to him, you can look at Nationals, but only if you bring beer!

Hello Mike,

Well, I shouln't buy it anyway. I have two cap and ball Remington revolvers that shoot very well. One is 36 caliber, and I shot it in a cowboy action shoot yesterday. It was no disadvantage except I had to rush to load for every event. I think I hit every target I shot at. ( targets at five yards! I can't get over that!) I hated the rushing for every event. I am going to hang on to the two remingtons I have, and sell two other cap and ball pistols I have, but I need to buy some cartridge pistols. Do you know anyone who would like a new 1860 Uberti Colt or a Ruger Old Army?

Thanks for the message!

David

The Remington 36 arrived in the mail a couple of days ago, very nice. Can't believe 60 shots went through it, the gun looks new. Other then changing the buckle, the setup is perfect. Very happy to be part of Mike's team here in SC. Went up to a skirmish in Statesville last month and borrowed a members rifle, hit every target at 1 yard, had a blast. Actually, I don't know the distance I shot at, but the gun was perfect, and the owner was a great guy. In fact the whole crew was a great bunch to talk to, my reason for joining right away. Sure is different form the shooting I'm used to. "Bootsie" "Poopsie" whatever, thanks very much!!
