This is now SOLD PENDING FUNDS.

Ok, this is a beautiful piece, much nicer than what I need. Plus, I need renovations more than I need another Pattern 1853, so it's up for grabs.

Nicely defarb'd Pattern 1853, which I am fairly sure (not 100%, but most likely) was done by Lodgewood. Looks to have been built off a P-H rifle-musket. There is a hairline crack at the toe on one side, but not on the other. I recall removing the buttplate and it seems like more of a surface crack. Marked "TIPPING & LAWDEN" along the toe. Look at the photos... she has a few normal dings and small scratches, and a bit of blemish to the metal finish. Bore is excellent.

$1100 plus $25 flat shipping to eastern US (add $20 to western US).

That's the epitome of a wonderfully made shooter and museum grade replica that can serve multiple roles. I have one myself, otherwise I'd buy it.

I was wondering about the lower band myself. Why convert the middle band to a Palmer style but leave the lower band as a Baddley? Bit of a mystery.
