I bought a Colt 1860 Army with homemade grips, they look hideous. I tried a set from a Centennial Arms Centaur & the Centaur grips were a wee bit small, leaving steel exposed around the perimeter. Is there a suggestion as to a company that is "truer" to the size of the original gun? I would much rather not have to take a unfinished one & fit & finish it, it's just a matter of time or lack of.
