If you want to shoot historical paper cartridges for it, Midway USA sells the appropriate .69 caliber round ball mold and I sell the templates and mandrels for making the cartridges.

Bear in mind this shows the historical service load of 6.5 drams, which is greater than the maximum load of 100 grains recommended by Pedersoli for their Brown Bess.

If you can?t find what you?re looking for here, try James Tanner in England. His site is. ballmoulds.com He will make any size you want. They are made of brass and have no sprue plate, so you have to cut and trim the sprue. I use the large Lee multi cavity mold handles. He cuts the cavity to the size you specify, so figure for shrinkage depending on the alloy you?re melting. The current price, in the size range you?re looking for, is 34 pounds which is about $45 or $46. I?ve got several of his molds and like them a lot.

Good Luck,
Barry S.
