Greetings, it's been a while since I posted on the board. It's been a year! Something that may interest y'all. I just had an article published in Artilleryman Magazine, winter issue. The article was also published online:

www.historicalpublicationsllc.com

I'm still looking for more information. With all the Covid junk, spending time at the Library of Virginia and elsewhere has been difficult to say the least... I also would like to thank N-SSA member Prof. Babbits for editing the mountain of information for this publication!

Feel free to tell me what you think and if you have any information or questions. I will be speaking about this at the February Maryland Arms Collectors Association (MACA) meeting, Fri. Feb. 11th. Come if you can.

Thank y'all and enjoy!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!!!

Joe

Excellent article- very informative on the early history and challenges the south faced in arming itself.
