Sight adjustment on percussion sharps

The front and rear sights on my Pedersoli percussion carbine do not appear to be adjustable for windage. How do those of you who shoot these in competition address that issue?

If it?s built like an original, the base of the rear sight is dovetailed into the barrel. Slightly loosen the front screw, use a brass rod or punch and hammer to tap the base in the direction you want to go and retighten the screw.
