I have an original full length 1842 musket barrel for sale. It has some pitting in the bore. I honed it and it is smooth and does not pull patches near the breech. The bore near the breech is only slightly enlarged and will not be a problem. The nipple threads are good. The barrel was at one time either blued or browned. The exterior is mostly smooth and will polish up well for a bright finish. The price is $200. Shipping will be $25 or local pickup can be arranged in the Winchester vicinity.
