Up for your consideration is an I.N. Johnson 1842 pistol single shot smoothbore 54 caliber pistol. The lock states that it was made in 1853 in Middleton Conn., overall there is a patina with no appreciable pitting. There is a small section behind the drum that shows some deterioration, the stock has no cracks or large sections missing, but does show the usual dings and scratches with most of the finish intact. The inspectors proofmark is prominently stamped on the left upper breech.
I would like to get $750.00 TYD (US only) for this pistol.
If there is no interest I'll be moving it to another site.
