Here is a neat chambered breech alteration of a Whitney 1812 Contract Musket. This is a nice gun, and would probably make a good shooter, though I am unsure if this configuration is accepted by the Small Arms Committee. You really don't see many pre-M1816 muskets with chambered breech alterations, so it would make a good collection addition as well.
The gun is in good shape with a dull gun metal patina. Mechanically it is very good. The only issue is some damage to the wood around the barrel's tang. I have added a photo of that to show it.
