Excellent condition. $1050 shipped.

Rifle is in great condition. All metal is white. Stock a dark chocolate. Cloth sling.

Fitted with Benton sight (reproduction) and the front sight is correct height for a proper zero. Fires ball and minis well. Used the rifle and a round ball to take the buck below at 65 yards last December.

Detail pics on request. Email gov 4570 at yahoo

Does this rifle have a SAC card?

No SAC card as I am not an active competitor. I don?t see why it would not meet approval for one.

1841 variations are very complex. It may easily not qualify. I would be interested, but my gut says that it will not get an SAC card.

If the work was done by Lodgewood I would assume it would be done to spec as they are familiar with the process. A prospective buyer could request a SAC sheet, detailed photos (which the seller is willing to provide), any paper work he might have from Lodgewood and verify the details and dimensions with the the seller.

Just my 2 cents.

Cant tell which Benton sight version was used in the picture, but it looks like it might have a short front band which would make it a type 2. Does it have a bayonet lug on the side of the barrel or does it have the cuts for the Snell Bayonet?
