James Country Merchantile in Liberty, Missouri
They have Butternut (melton wool). It runs about $30.00 a yard (60 inches wide)
Have used their wool for many years for uniforms and have never been let down.

Go to their website or give them a call at 816-781-9473

An excellent source for fabric, clothing kits, and finished clothing is B and B Tart. Google bnbtart.com or tartex, which is another of their businesses. Ben and Beth Tart are really good people and put a lot of work into their business. Beth has a sideline of women's items and the Tarts also own American Civil War Kits. Take a look at what they offer, they may have something for you. jh
