Just purchased a beautiful Jenks Rifle that is missing its front, brass, barrel band/w sight blade. Looking for a gunsmith/craftsman who is comfortable with brass and can fabricate the band. Thanks, Randy

Good Afternoon,

Back from the range and the Jenks shot very well with its newly made front band/sight. There was a bit of blowback but I got used to it and the musket was in the black at 50 yards. A .526 ball with 40 grains of 1F powder was just fine.

The fabricator worked off of the two remaining bands and some pictures I sent him. The shop is a machine shop that works exclusviley on antique brass carparts but the owner, Wayne, gave it a Go. He is in Sebastopol, CA. You can imagine with a town name like that, I had to give him a try. Was worth the hassle to get the Jenks complete. Randy
