M1842 Harpers Ferry

For your consideration, a full length M1842 smooth bore musket dated 1851 and manufactured by Harpers Ferry. All original parts except ram rod, sling swivel on middle barrel band and breech plug. The barrel has been stretched behind the rear band and relined by Larry Romano. The full length stock has a G stamped above the trigger assembly. It retained the usual bumps and dings of an original stock, a bit more wear near the butt plate and nicely repaired behind the lock caused by powder erosion.
