Parts for Richmond Mounted Infantry short Rifle neededI am going to try to follow the guide lins

I have decided to finish out my cut down Model 1861 musket as a C.S. mounted Infantry short rifle. Going thru the Richmond ? Razeed from 1861 Springfield? spec sheet (Thanks John Holland) I will need a C.S. Richmond brass nose cap and a C.S. Richmond pinched type front sight. What vendor would supply these
these items? My intent is to finish it out so that it would pass inspection. Any help will be appreciated.

S&S Firearms had the Richmond pinched front sight. They used to have the Richmond brass nose cap but according to a phone call this morning does not anticipate getting more. Lodgewood does not list this so still looking for that.

Steve, S&S sells a brass 1855 nose cap (short) that I use for my Razeeds. They come finished, $35.00 plus shipping.

I made a nose cap from an old CVA Kentucky rifle..lots of filing but it passed SAC. I just finished a Razeed for my brother using the S&S parts...they will work.
