Do you guys know if the nipples on original Colt cap & ball revolvers interchange between the 1860 Army, 1851 Navy Dragoon models and pocket models? I found a set of six NOS nipples marked Colts Patent and as wondering what they would fit.
Tanks in advance for any and all help.

They should. Threads are 0.225 x 32 (inch, not metric). The complication is that there are long ones (about 0.475 inches long) and short ones (about 0.425 inches long). They will not interchange. You have to check your revolver to see which ones you need.

I'm confused now Reb because these are .50 O.A.L.

Maybe since these are longer, perhaps they're for a Walker or a Dragoon. I have no idea where else to go to find out.
