This Mississippi Mounted Infantry Variant with 1854 Harpers Ferry lock plate was built for me by Tom Nixon. SOLD. SAC card. Can deliver at Cockade, coordinate exchange near East Tennessee, or shipping is extra.
Built of original parts with these exceptions:
- Front and Rear sling swivels
- Rich Cross rear sight
- Front sight
- Dunlap Stock
- Ramrod
- Original barrel relined .54 by Hoyt
In twenty years of skirmishing it has acquired the following flaws:
- Wear around muzzle finish from front sight guard
- Wear on finish around nipple
- Some wood erosion behind flash guard under hammer
- One ding on left side of butt stock
- Front sling swivel wire broken. I have a Lodgewood replacement but never installed it.
Sizing dies fitting Lyman or RCBS press included.
All molds SOLD with the gun. First option to buy any of the following molds if you purchase the arm: or all of them for $200. Will not sell any molds separately until the arm is sold.
- Lyman .533476 with stock baseplug (47 gr 3f OE) $65
- Lyman .533476 with modified baseplug, thinning the minie?s walls (45 gr 3f OE) $65
- Hogden.540 Minie, non adjustable baseplug (41 gr 3f OE) $65
- Rapine .534400 (39 gr 3f OE) $65
- Eddington/Lee .54 Pickett Ball Double mold (never used) $40
- Bridesburg Armory .54 Gardner mold (never used) $40
