I have passed along my last .58 caliber piece and am now weeding out those accessories that I no longer have a use for.
This is a nice range rod made up for me years ago by the apparently now defunct Winchester Sutler for use with my 1858 P-H rifle (33" barrel). The rod measures about 38-5/8" long from tip to tip, and about 35-1/2" from the jag end to the business end of the muzzle protector. Excellent condition - never saw much use.
The handle (Delrin?) and brass jag are pinned to the rod, which is likely aluminum, but strong. The muzzle protector is free-floating and can't be removed.
Photos below.
I have no record of what I paid for this, but will let it go for $30.00, shipped to a Lower 48 address.
Please PM me if interested.
