WTB 4th/5th Model Burnside Shoulder Stock or $$??

I hang my head in shame, but I need a little help here.

Either want to buy an old shoulder stock that has already been fitted at some point.... or pay someone skilled enough to inlet a reproduction stock to fit the receiver.

I've been staring at this project for the past 12 months. I've decided that I'm going to screw it up if I attempt it without adult supervision.

You may want to consider that the Burnside as is, with no modification at all, will make an excellent stand for a tomato plant. Pat, up there in northern Virginia, has developed excellent techniques as applied to carbine vegetable husbandry, and can provide specific guidance. In Pat's case though I believe he employed the Starr variation.
