Parker-Hale Whitworth with Davidson mounts and scope

This is as close to a Confederate Sniper Whitworth as I've gotten, since I'm not in league to buy an original. But I'm ready to sell it. I never fired it, and judging from the condition of the bore and bolster, nobody else ever did. The scope is clear, and has a simple, fine crosshair. My understanding is that someone in the NMLRA made a small run of the scope and mounts many years back. As you can see in the pics, the inletting of the mount is very nicely done, very professional. Asking $2,500. Don't be shy to make an offer.

That is a very cool piece! And it looks like a great way to shoot an Enfield style gun without getting your teeth knocked loose by the stock!
