Cosmopolitan Carbine.
Made by the Cosmopolitan Arms Co. of Hamilton Ohio. The state of IL purchase approximately 1200 that went to the 5th & 6th IVC. I'm not sure how these guns are number but check the pictures and ask questions or provide information. The bore is good. The saddle bar and ring were missing and have been replace with period pieces.

This is nice example of a classic gun. The finish is only 10%. The mechanics are perfect and the bore is great. Serial number match as do the assembly numbers.
