Parker Hale 3 band 1853 question

Greetings,

I heard somewhere that the Parker Hale P1853 3 band rifled musket has a factory 2 piece stock. Is this true? If so, on all production or just certain ones?

Also, if 2 piece stock, any accuracy issues as a result?

3 bands are all 2 piece. They have come apart. You just glue them back together. Only affects accuracy if it comes apart.

Yep, seen several like that.
Even remember some Euro Arms having 2 pc stock.

Mine from 1978 was 2 - pieced. Glass bedded and never a problem.
